Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional to support and execute day-to-day performance testing activities within our QA and production environments. This role involves collaborating with delivery teams and other IT areas to validate performance testing and non-functional requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • 4 years of experience in SDLC
  • 4 years of testing experience specifically within the performance testing engineering discipline
  • Solid understanding of performance test process methodologies, approaches, and tools
  • Experience with utility industry and utility operations, particularly ADMS
  • Extensive experience with performance testing and automation tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Neoload, or similar
  • Strong proficiency in one of the coding languages: Java, Python, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with performance engineering and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Experience with API REST/SOAP testing and related tools like SOAP UI, Postman
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD and related tools and techniques such as Jenkins, Dockers, Kubernetes
  • Expertise in metrics gathering and developing dashboards and reports for performance testing analysis
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Directly support and execute performance testing activities within QA and production regions
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and IT areas to validate performance testing and non-functional requirements
  • Utilize various testing techniques such as single user profiling, spike, stress, endurance, failover, etc.
  • Assess risks associated with development aspects of each solution project
  • Define a performance testing approach and make solution recommendations to development, architecture, and infrastructure teams
