Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

Responsible for completing the welding of prefabricated assemblies. You will setup welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness, operate a variety of fabrication equipment, and fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies.

  • Setup welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness.

  • Operate a variety of fabrication equipment such as plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press.

  • Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints.

  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of welding experience.

  • Proficiency in MIG welding.

  • Knowledge of GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience with stainless steel and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with operating fabrication equipment such as plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
