Welder

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Welders to join our growing fabrication team on 1st & 2nd shift. This position offers the opportunity to work with newer equipment in a well-designed weld cell layout while contributing to the production of high-quality assemblies. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and welding expertise, this is your chance to be part of a company with low turnover and a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on prefabricated assemblies with precision and efficiency

• Set up welding machines independently for various processes and material thicknesses

• Operate fabrication equipment including plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses

• Fabricate and weld complex assemblies directly from blueprints

• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy in production

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area to company standards

Qualifications

• Proficiency in GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) welding processes

• Ability to operate fabrication equipment such as plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to fabricate complex assemblies without supervision

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled fabrication shop environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
