Schedule Details:

Your Role: As a Surgical Technologist, you play a vital role in the operating room, employing your attention to detail and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Schedule/Hours: Full-time evening shifts (8 or 10-hour shifts) from Monday to Friday. You'll also participate in an on-call system that includes overnight shifts and weekends. Call hours may vary, with a 30-minute arrival requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare for surgical procedures.
  • Set up the operating room and manage surgical equipment.
  • Assist as a Second Assistant when necessary.
  • Transport patients and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and sterile.
  • Demonstrate essential knowledge for patient care across all ages.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposed to potential hazards including mechanical and chemical risks.
  • Must have functional vision and hearing.
