Position Description

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Diesel Technician with Ryder We are looking for an experienced technician to support our Truck Fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with heavy-duty vehicles and advance your career.

  • Hourly Pay: $36.45 per hour
  • Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to $500 Every Quarter
  • Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 at 30 days and another $2,500 at 90 days
  • Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday
  • Hours: Second Shift Tuesday - Thursday 3:00pm-11:30pm, Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm, Saturday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Post-Secondary Technical Certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • At least 2 years of mechanical repair experience with heavy-duty equipment
  • Solid understanding of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid CDL CLASS A preferred
  • Ability to pass a Ryder Drug Test and DOT physical

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools
  • Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Maintain compliance with federal and corporate guidelines
  • Serve as a mentor for junior technicians
