About the Role

We are hiring a Teradata DBA to join our client's team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative banking companies in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform DBA Application tasks including DDL creation, SQL scripting, research/troubleshooting, change deployments, and on-call support.
  • Design, automate, and document DBA processes using Teradata and Unix/Linux scripting while supporting multiple Teradata environments (dev/UAT, DR, production).
  • Administer database access policies and support select Mainframe functions such as archive processing and job scheduling.
  • Manage and consult on storage, archive, restore, and disaster-recovery practices while partnering with project teams on database changes.
  • Work independently, complete required training, participate in meetings, and provide regular status updates to stay aligned with DBA team processes.
What We're Looking For
  • Teradata DBA with more than 10 year's experience including experience with Teradata V17.20 or higher.
  • Strong understanding of Teradata databases, including physical and logical design.
  • Proficient with Teradata tools and utilities.
  • Familiar with Mainframe systems and how to run jobs or interfaces.
  • Experience using Viewpoint, Data Mover, and Teradata backup/restore tools.
  • Able to write and use Unix/Linux scripts.
  • Proficient in Teradata suite
Compensation

Hourly Rate: $63 - $66 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
