Teradata and Hadoop Developer Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery of technology solutions
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple technology teams
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables
  • Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion and timeline
  • Gather and facilitate project updates for stakeholders and leadership regarding deliverables, risks, and schedule
  • Ensure execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Identify emerging risks/issues, escalate as needed, and identify critical paths for resolution
  • Execute financial management routines to meet financial commitments
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards and maintain evidence for change records
  • Support resource planning for delivery/execution
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience as an Analyst or Developer
  • 7+ years of advanced SQL experience and understanding of relational databases
  • 5+ years of experience with Teradata and utilities (BTEQ, TPT, etc)
  • 4+ years of experience working on Pyspark, Impala/Hive
  • Experience with Agile software delivery practices and scrum teams
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite software skills (Excel, Access, SharePoint)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and timeline management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology partners
  • Experience with scheduling software (Autosys) and shell scripting
Technical Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Github, Ansible
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player who takes initiative
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in data warehousing or Big Data technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (Teradata, Hadoop, etc)
  • Experience in ETL processes and tools
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with DevOps practices
