job summary:
A Program Manager is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This role requires an experienced professional to lead and manage all phases of an Aircraft Interiors Program, driving contractual, financial, and technical commitments by coordinating an Integrated Product Team and managing crucial internal and external stakeholder relationships.

responsibilities:
Stakeholder & Team Leadership:

  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations, forming an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

  • Lead decision-making for the IPT, applying critical thinking where data is incomplete.

  • Lead or participate in key program cadence activities, including monthly financial reporting.

  • Provide guidance to program leads on the implementation of risk and opportunity management.
Cadence & Coordination:

  • Assist with the daily program cadence (battle rhythm), including schedule performance management, customer reviews, IPT reviews, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).

  • Coordinate with production, operations, and supply chain in managing production deliveries to meet customer schedule requirements.

  • Coordinate customer program reviews and prepare for customer visits.

  • Support and organize program reviews, team meetings, and other business activities.
Contract & Financial Management:

  • Meet contractual commitments, including financial, technical, and schedule performance.

  • Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and Business procedures.
Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication and concise presentation material.

  • Understand and represent customer needs to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field (PM, Engineering, etc.) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Management Experience:

  • Prior Program/Project Management experience.

  • Prior People Leadership/Management experience.

  • Experience leading/managing development programs and transitioning them to production.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
Tools & Techniques:

  • Experience with Financial Analysis tools and/or systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources, including MS Project.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Risk & Opportunity Management.

  • Industry Specific: Experience at OEM suppliers leading OEM development programs (preferred).
