At WE Transport, we are currently looking for enthusiastic School Bus and Van Drivers. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle. Plus, if you’re not already licensed, we provide Paid CDL training to help you get started
What We Provide:
- Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy split-shifts with morning and afternoon options.
- Guaranteed Hours: Work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- FREE CDL Permit Training: Get the qualifications you need at no cost
- Sign-on Bonus: Earn a $5,000 bonus simply for being a fully licensed NY CDL driver with appropriate endorsements.
- Competitive Pay Rates: Start at $24.25 per hour for Van Drivers and $28.50 per hour for School Bus Drivers (with required endorsements).

Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school.
- Monitor traffic and student behavior to ensure a safe riding experience.
- Comply with all traffic laws and district requirements.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
- Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements or a Class C with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain through our free training).
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check while maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and complete CDL permit training.
