Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the client representative to ensure that the MEP Systems are being installed in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and other design requirements.
  • Walk down the MEP on a daily basis to verify the installation conforms to the design documents.
  • Monitor RFIs related to the MEP system and ensure they are being answered by the appropriate party in a timely manner.
  • Review submittals for the MEP systems and ensure they are being approved in a timely manner.
  • Review the onsite installation to ensure materials being installed meet the submittals that were approved.
  • Walk down the MEP Systems and verify they are being installed in the correct location as shown on the 3D models.
  • Proactively identify potential clashes in the field and bring them to the attention of the project team.
  • Support the processing of pay applications by verifying that the amount claimed on the pay application agrees to what is actually installed in the field.
  • Identifying defects on installed material and verifying that it has been rectified properly.
  • Taking pictures for reporting purposes.
  • Supporting receive and inspection of equipment and skids.
  • Documenting and reporting
  • Identify design discrepancies or material defects.
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications
  • Help review Electronic Turnover Packages (ETOPs) from the contractors to ensure all the necessary documentation is being turned over to the client.

  • Non-Potable Water
  • City Water
  • Compressed Air Piping
  • Steam/Condensate Piping
  • Fire Hydrant System
  • Fire Sprinkler System
  • City Water
  • Floor drain piping
  • Power distribution cable trays and conduit
  • HVAC ductwork
Experience Requirements
  • Four-year engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of MEP work at a construction site.
  • Experience in reading 3D model software such as Revit or Navisworks
  • Ability to read and understand piping drawings, electrical one-line drawings, and P&IDs
  • Must be able to start work by middle of August 2025
  • Full-Time on-site position.
