LocumJobsOnline is working with Adelphi Locums to find a qualified Radiology MD in Cooperstown, New York, 13326 About The Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Diagnostic Radiologist Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cooperstown, NY Service Setting: Hospital (Radiology Department) Coverage Type: Clinical Only (No Call) Coverage Period: January 2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: MonFri, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM On-Call Shift Schedule: None COVERAGE DATES Start Date: January 2026 End Date: Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (with some OB ultrasound) Patient Volume/Census: 70100 studies per day, depending on case mix Case Mix: CT, Ultrasound (including OB), MRI, Plain films; daily distribution varies FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: McKesson PACS, Nuance Powerscribe 360 Voice Recognition Specialty Backup Available: Standard departmental coverage Reason for Coverage: Vacancy/Staffing support (2 Radiologists needed) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: TBD Credentialing Timeline: ~120 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES Interpret CT, MRI, Ultrasound (including OB), and plain film studies Screening, diagnostic, and biopsy mammograms (preferred; 1 week/month) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active NY license (required) Board: ABR Certified (American Board of Radiology) DEA: TBD Experience: Diagnostic radiology with versatility in modalities listed Other Qualifications: Onsite only; no remote reading DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret 70100 radiology studies per day across modalities Perform screening, diagnostic, and biopsy mammograms (preferred, 1 week/month) Document findings in Epic EMR using McKesson PACS and Powerscribe 360 Collaborate with radiology team for departmental workflow Maintain high-quality standards of patient care and safety 1669619EXPTEMP Top Reasons to Choose a Locum Tenens Assignment Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment.
