Job Responsibilities
  • Implementing nursing care best practices in post-acute residents
  • Monitoring resident conditions and providing updates to the nursing team
  • Measuring and documenting vital signs
  • Assisting residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and daily activities
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment to promote hygiene
  • Transporting residents within the facility as needed
  • Engaging with residents to provide comfort and foster trust
  • Following care plans and adhering to regulations and policies
  • Facilitating communication between staff, residents, and their families
Qualifications and Skills
  • Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
  • Knowledge of nursing procedures and medical terminology
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
