Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional nursing care to post-acute residents
  • Monitoring resident conditions and updating nursing staff
  • Measuring and documenting vital signs
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including grooming and feeding
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment through effective hygiene practices
  • Transporting and assisting residents with mobility
  • Engaging with residents daily to foster comfort and build relationships
  • Following strict care plans and policies
  • Facilitating communication between staff, residents, and families

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
  • Strong understanding of nursing procedures and clinical terminology
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs
