Key Responsibilities:
- Provide best practice nursing care to residents.
- Monitor residents' conditions and communicate updates to the nursing team.
- Measure and document basic vital signs.
- Assist residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other daily living activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by promoting hygiene and eliminating hazards.
- Transport residents within the facility and assist with mobility.
- Engage with residents to foster comfort and build trust.
- Adhere to care plans and all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Current Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
- Knowledge of nursing procedures and medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
