Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking skilled ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to be part of our dedicated team.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Radiologic Technician, you will conduct x-ray procedures utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology, operate diagnostic equipment, develop images, and prepare examination rooms with essential supplies. You will also engage in Medical Assistant tasks to ensure comprehensive patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list includes typical duties associated with the role, but it is not exhaustive. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
- Warmly greet patients as they arrive in waiting and exam areas.
- Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and next steps in their care.
- Address patient concerns efficiently and identify urgently necessary situations.
- Conduct follow-up calls promptly and with care.
- Assist front desk staff with patient check-in/out processes as required.
- Accurately record patient vital signs, weights, and relevant medical histories.
- Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under direct supervision.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to patient visits accurately.
- Perform timely radiologic procedures to facilitate effective physician evaluation and treatment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure high standards for imaging exams.
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect and ensure all equipment is functioning properly; report any malfunctions.
- Commit to ongoing professional development in diagnostic imaging.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications for radiology equipment operation.
WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Full-time employees work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour shifts on weekdays and alternate weekends. PRN (per diem) staff will be scheduled as needed.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS Certification mandatory.
AR State X-Ray License is needed.
ARRT Certification is preferred.
Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations across Arkansas and is part of Urgent Team, a leading independent operator of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our facilities provide a range of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Our centers operate seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Little Rock-Markham Street location offers services on weekends from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. All facilities are accredited by the Urgent Care Association, showcasing our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.
