Regulatory Accounting Manager

The Role
As a Regulatory Accounting Manager, you will oversee the workflow to ensure that audit packages are accurate and delivered on time. You will support regulatory filings for a variety of products, including 40 act mutual funds, ETFs, institutional accounts, and alternative products like private credit funds. Data analysis and enhancement are key aspects of this role, and you will collaborate with the management team to guide development, improve processes, and cultivate talent.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Strong understanding of Mutual Fund Operations, Accounting, or Regulatory Reporting, with alternative products experience seen as a plus.
- Relevant Accounting, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting experience.
- Theoretical knowledge of Alternative Investments and the Mutual Fund Industry.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, guiding your team in addressing customer inquiries effectively.
- Adaptability in a constantly evolving regulatory and operational environment.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both upstream and downstream partners.
- Technical prowess to produce and analyze large data sets using accounting systems and MS Office tools.

The Team
The Accounting for Regulatory Reporting Compliance (ARRC) Team delivers quality accounting data to internal and external partners to fulfill regulatory reporting obligations. The team prepares and delivers over 7,000 annual audit workpapers supporting mutual funds, private funds, and alternative products. Accurate and timely delivery of this information is essential for Fidelity’s monthly regulatory reporting requirements. Our mission is to ensure that high-quality accounting data is available for supporting regulatory reporting needs.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
