Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Vehicle Fleet Compliance Coordinator to join our team in North Wilkesboro, NC . You can be a part of a highly professional North American Disaster Relief team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of North American Disaster Relief (NADR) fleet, maintaining compliance with government regulations, and the handling and processing of confidential driver qualification documents. A day in the life of a Vehicle Fleet Compliance Coordinator:

In the role of Vehicle Fleet Compliance Coordinator , you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
• Assist with managing and properly securing information for all 1000+ current drivers in the driving pool along with driver qualification files and DOT drug screens.
• Assist the disaster relief team with compliance issues for ministry commercial vehicles for the NC Department of Transportation (DOT), NC Department of Revenue (DOR) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), International Registration Plan (IRP), including preparation, mailing, and filing of end of month trip sheets for all our commercial vehicles.
• Assist with managing and tracking registration renewals for company fleet comprised of approximately 650 vehicles including cars, vans, trucks, trailers, equipment and more.
• Manage PeopleSoft system for vehicle maintenance and records, including the input of data for maintenance performed .
• Assist in managing databases of the current inventory of vehicle and equipment for the NADR ministry and field sites.
• Assist with reviewing and monitoring fleet maintenance and repair invoices monthly.
• Assist with reviewing toll bills received from Accounts Payable, ensuring the vehicle belongs to North American Ministries, and then handling payment.
• Assist with documentation and filing of all vehicle accident reports and tracking accident history.
• Assist with ensuring all new vehicles have been added to insurance policy and updating units annually with updated insurance cards.
• Assist with managing warranty repairs on all vehicles to ensure all are properly recorded for applicable maintenance and repairs under warranty, recalls, etc.
• Perform duties as the backup Fleet Vehicle Compliance Manager for the US Disaster Relief Headquarters in North Wilkesboro to include but not limited to: handling phone calls, e-mails, general correspondence.
• Update Disaster Relief shared folders with forms and spreadsheets needed during a disaster response.
• Provide logistical support services during times of disaster response and serve as backup for volunteer coordinators and Administrative Assistant to the Director of Support Services as needed.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one year related fleet management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to handle problems, concerns, and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines while working under pressure with frequent interruptions.
• General knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations, fleet management, and driver qualifications
• Thorough knowledge of the field of DOT regulations, fleet oversight, and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word.
• Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all staff, volunteers, and colleagues.
• Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts and make decisions that make sense based on all available information.
• Excellent time management skills so as to ensure efficiency in service delivery at all times.
• Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
