Position Overview:

As a Psychiatry Account Executive, you will play a vital role in promoting our psychiatry portfolio. You will leverage your clinical knowledge and sales strategies to drive exceptional performance. We are looking for a results-oriented professional who can navigate the complexities of today’s market environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning & Leadership: Utilize digital tools and data-driven insights to create strategic opportunities, develop effective tactics, and monitor progress to enhance sales performance.
  • Sales Execution: Communicate effectively with clients, identify their needs, address objections, and close calls by securing commitments to drive behavioral changes.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including comprehensive account management.
  • Market Expertise: Analyze market trends and apply your therapeutic knowledge to discover and prioritize unique sales opportunities.
  • Reimbursement Understanding: Stay informed about reimbursement dynamics and address access issues in collaboration with Lundbeck’s resources.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Maintain adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and Lundbeck policies while promoting our products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device sales, or related healthcare sales roles.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and retaining complex product information.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must reside within 40 miles of the designated territory boundaries.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in specialty product sales, particularly in CNS/neuroscience.
  • Documented success in sales performance.
  • A track record of developing integrated account plans.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience with sales data reporting tools.
  • Prior experience in product launches and working with alliance partners.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%-40% of the time for client meetings and conferences.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is between $117,000 - $137,000, plus eligibility for a sales incentive target of $39,000. We offer a robust benefits package, including flexible paid time off, health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), 401k matching, and a company car.
