Your Responsibilities
- Performing thorough assessments of patients, recommending tests, and developing tailored healthcare strategies
- Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians
- Providing education to patients and families regarding wellness, preventive care, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing medications and treatments as per your practice guidelines
- Engaging in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
- Documenting patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or its equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- A balance of strong clinical knowledge and a kind, empathetic approach
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced, patient-oriented settings
- Comfort with EMR systems and telehealth technology
