Your Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop customized care plans
  • Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously as permitted by credentialing
  • Guide patients and their families on prevention, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
  • Engage in patient follow-up and chronic care management protocols
  • Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams for seamless and integrative patient care
  • Accurately document patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or capability to obtain within three months)
