Olive Recruiting is searching for an experienced Account Executive for our freight forwarding client, in Las Vegas, NV. This role is responsible for generating and managing a book of business focused on expedited freight and domestic & international shipping (air & ocean). Responsibilities encompass new business development, customer relationship management, and coordination with operations teams to ensure high service standards.

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Full-time, direct hire with client
Schedule: Field-based role; Monday-Friday with occasional in-office sales meetings. Regular client visits expected.
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions. Strong benefits package including 401(k) with 4% match, low-cost health coverage, non-taxable car allowance, mobile reimbursement, and entertainment budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a personal book of business focused on expedited freight and international air/ocean forwarding.
  • Prospect and win new accounts through active outside sales activities (including in person drop ins, trade shows, phone calls, emails, and social media) and relationship-building across industries.
  • Maintain ownership of all accounts and act as the primary customer liaison with support from internal ops teams.
  • Collaborate with international and domestic operations agents to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Track and manage accounts through the company's proprietary CRM and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage collections and maintain awareness of profitability thresholds.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales (domestic and/or international).
  • Proven ability to generate at least $1M/year in gross profit (GP) from own book of business.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and a hunter mentality with a strong desire to earn uncapped income.
  • Familiarity with expedited logistics, project freight, air/ocean international forwarding, and high-margin shipping models.
  • Willingness to sell both international and domestic services, even if prior experience is weighted to one side.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to work autonomously, maintain a full sales pipeline, and meet aggressive performance targets.
  • Experience with proprietary or major CRMs/TMS platforms is a plus.
