The Field Operations Manager - Concrete Division is responsible for overseeing all concrete projects from planning through completion. This includes workforce scheduling, equipment utilization, and quality control. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Operations Manager works closely with superintendents, project managers, foremen, and field crews to achieve operational excellence and maintain Adena's reputation as an industry leader.

Position Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the project managers for the planning, scheduling, and execution of concrete projects across Florida operations.
  2. Serve as the key liaison between Adena Florida and Amcrete Ohio to align practices, share resources, and maintain consistent quality standards.
  3. Coordinate with the Project Managers to review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure understanding of project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  4. Develop and manage project schedules, manpower allocations, and equipment utilization plans.
  5. Attend client and internal leadership meetings, delivering timely updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  6. Partner with field supervision to ensure work meets specifications, safety standards, and Adena/Amcrete quality expectations.
  7. Collaborate with division leadership to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and optimize use of crews and equipment.
  8. Ensure compliance with Adena's safety policies, OSHA requirements, and Drug-Free Workplace standards.
  9. Provide technical guidance to the foreman through blueprint reading, take-offs, and interpretation of structural/architectural drawings.
  10. Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete construction or project management (structural, flatwork, tilt-up, or heavy civil preferred).
  2. Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety practices.
  3. Proven ability to manage multiple crews, large-scale projects, and operational budgets.
  4. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and drive accountability
  5. Ability to work independently, travel to job sites, and work in field conditions as needed.
  6. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
