The Physical Therapist will provide a comprehensive range of physical therapy services, including screening and evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, patient re-evaluation, discharge planning, and detailed documentation across various healthcare settings. You will also play a key role in program development and assist the team in achieving established goals.

Primary Duties:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing medical history, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings. Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal setting.
- Implement effective treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and the patient’s condition. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary, and adjust care plans seamlessly as patient conditions evolve.
- Oversee discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care. Document all patient care activities in a timely and accurate manner, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to illustrate the patient's care journey.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet productivity standards while maintaining an accurate schedule. Exhibit a professional commitment to ensuring patient access to care by displaying empathy, creativity, and flexibility in a consumer-driven healthcare environment.
- Take the initiative in your professional growth by pursuing continued education. Serve as a clinical instructor, mentor, and guide for students, new staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as required for your specific work location.
- American Heart Association's BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
This position has a hiring range of: USD $72,758.00 - USD $130,041.00 /Yr.
