Our client, a leading provider in data center operations, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the D&T department supporting on-site infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a teachable mindset, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

Pay Range: $38-$41 hourly

What's the Job?

  • Perform Rack & Stack and cabling between cabinets on servers and network assets
  • Install, test, label, and dress both fiber and copper cabling
  • Reboot devices and assist with general server operations
  • Participate in asset management, inventory, shipping & receiving
  • Communicate professionally with clients and troubleshoot as needed
What's Needed?
  • 2+ years of experience working in a data center
  • Ability to terminate copper and use Fluke cable testers
  • Comfortable working on ladders up to 12 feet and lifting devices over 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • High School Diploma
