Title: Data Center Technician (3 Roles) Job Family: D&T Background Package: CBRE Standard-No Drug Screening Bill Rate: $26.50- $28.50 Hours: One role: M-F 8-5pm
Two roles: M-F 3pm -12pm
Please include the shift they are open to working on the top of their resume (this is required) Remote/Hybrid/In-Person: In-Person Location: 1905 Lunt, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Assignment Duration: 6 Months Potential to convert to FTE, If so, what rate: Yes, No rate at this time Resource's typical working day: They will be preforming rack and stack on servers and network assets in a data center

  • The Tech will need to install and test fiber and copper cabling
  • They will also need to know how to terminate copper
  • They will need to reboot a device and have general familiarity with how severs work
  • Experience using a Fluke cable tester would be highly preferred
  • Work on ladders 7-8 feet off the floor
  • Install servers that can weight up to 40-50 lbs. (will use a server lift and always working in teams)
  • They are occasionally asked to be on trouble shooting calls or speak to the client
  • Very fast pace and busy data center environment
Years of Experience needed: Two years' working in a data center
(If they have been leading a team for several years they would not be a fit as they need someone with boots on the ground) Level of Education: H.S Diplom Systems/Software proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel and teams) Certifications/Licenses: n/ Top Must have Skills: Teachability and positive attitude is a HIGHLY valued skill

Attention to Detail Top Nice to have Skills: Outside accreditations
Customer service experience
Experience using a Fluke cable tester would be highly preferred Interview Process: Two interviews
