What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, as per your credentials
- Educating patients and family members on prevention, wellness practices, and managing various health conditions
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Involving in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
- Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless patient care
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Must possess a current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Wisconsin
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment combined with a compassionate bedside manner
- Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and colleagues
- Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-centered surroundings
- Adeptness in using EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth technology
- A team-oriented mindset along with a dedication to evidence-based practices
