Maintenance Technician/Crane Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician/Overhead Crane Inspector:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems in an industrial establishment.
- Emphasis in overhead crane maintenance.
- Specialize in crane inspections.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Utilize the preventative maintenance software program to report on and track pending and completed tasks.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational, verbal, written, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.
- Dependability through regular and reliable attendance is required.
- A two-year technical degree in industrial, electrical, or mechanical emphasis is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

- Mechanical, electrical, and repair maintenance experience.
- Overhead Crane Maintenance and Overhead Crane Inspections.
- Installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of overhead crane experience.
- Computer proficiency or experience with preventative maintenance software.
