Educational and Experience Requirement

Associates degree in related field. Three years related experience or experience in a related field. One year of experience in credentialing, affiliation agreements, and/or a related area preferred. Certifications may be required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered

Nature & Purpose of Position

Performs advanced specialist duties for the School of Nursing. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports the onboarding and credentialing of nursing faculty, staff, and students.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs advanced specialist duties for the School of Nursing. Develops and maintains affiliation agreements between university, clinical, and healthcare organizations. Assists with the credentialing process, including records, clinical partner requirements, licensure, and certifications that meet the compliance of state, federal, and organization standards. Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the credentialing and affiliation agreement process. Facilitates affiliation agreements and assists with the nursing credentialing processes. Supports other team functions, as necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications

Requires a general knowledge of standard office functions. Requires good knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for nursing credentialing. Must be able to use standard office software, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and credentialing software preferred. Must be able to apply policies and procedures and solve routine problems of a repetitive nature. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
