Department Details

  • 12 Hour Shifts (Flexible): 6:30a-7:00p and 6:30p-7:00a
  • Full Time and Part Time opportunities are available.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for Full Time and $5,000 for Part Time
  • Work every third weekend
  • Block schedule with flexibility and no rotating shifts
  • Compensation based on experience
  • Daily pay options available

The Good Samaritan Society-Park River is a 60-bed facility that provides both skilled and basic care. Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings under the guidance of registered nurses or physicians. You will utilize your nursing knowledge, demonstrating competency in relevant clinical practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring resident health and safety
  • Administering medications and treatments as per care plans
  • Supporting healthcare professionals in daily tasks
  • Documenting resident interactions and care outcomes
  • Providing family and resident education as directed

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; an Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
  • LPN license in good standing with the state nursing board
  • Completion of a program that includes supervised clinical experience or possess at least 400 hours of practical nursing experience
  • Certification in IV therapy may be required depending on specific duties
  • Continuing education and competency training compliant with departmental requirements
