Join our dedicated team in the General Surgery/Trauma department, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care during the night shift. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse to enhance our team and support our mission of creating a caring environment for patients and their families.

Position Overview:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care following company policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess and identify patient conditions.
  • Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
  • Utilize sound nursing judgment to manage patient care effectively.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care.
  • Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree).
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them in clinical practice.
