Primary Duties:

  • Conduct evaluation services by assessing historical information, performing specific assessments, and documenting results. Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families while involving them in goal-setting.

  • Implement treatment protocols with proficiency based on evaluation findings and patient needs. Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary, recognizing changes in the patient's condition that may require plan modification.

  • Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care while ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities that reflect the patient's progress, including initial evaluations, plans of care, daily encounter notes, and discharge evaluations.

  • Exhibit effective time management skills and meet productivity expectations. Maintain an accurate schedule and demonstrate a commitment to seamless patient access to care by being flexible and empathetic in this patient-driven environment.

  • Take initiative in pursuing continuing education for personal growth and professional competency. Serve as a clinical instructor for students and assist in the orientation of new staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.

  • Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required based on your specific location.

  • American Heart Association’s BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers.

This position has a hiring range of: USD $72,758.00 - USD $130,041.00 /Yr.
