We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management. This role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
- Analyze financial data and provide insight on variances, trends, and operational performance.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, finance, and HR to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Contract duration: 3 months with the potential for full-time hire.
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday, 8am-5pm, onsite.
