Our client is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join their team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Fleet Mechanic
Location: Saint Petersburg, FL
Pay Range: $21/hr - $27/hr
Shift: 1st Shift - Tuesday to Saturday (9am-530pm) + Overtime
What's the Job?
-
Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all company fleet vehicles.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.

Respond to service calls and maintain tools and a clean work area.

Conduct preventative maintenance in the fleet.
-
Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed.
What's Needed?
-
Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience on light and heavy equipment.
-
Experience with heavy-duty and PIT equipment.
-
Excellent demonstration of mechanical and technical aptitude.
-
Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.

May be required to supply automotive hand tools (not including heavy-duty or diagnostic tools).

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join their team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting vehicle repair and preventative maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
