Join our dynamic Private Markets Operations team as a crucial member supporting the investment activities related to private equity funds, real asset funds, private credit funds, co-investments, commercial mortgage loans, and private placement notes. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in technology, data management, performance measurement, transaction monitoring, closing, and risk management associated with private markets investments. You will report to the Senior Manager, Private Market Operations.

This role can be performed Full-Time Remote or Hybrid (if based in Madison, WI), allowing for flexibility based on your location. We encourage internal candidates to apply regardless of location, and we will consider applicants based on the needs of the role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on the risk and return of private markets investments.
  • Serve as a technical liaison to both internal and external parties regarding private markets technologies, processes, reporting, and operations.
  • Act as the primary relationship contact for external private markets technology and operations vendors.
  • Facilitate training for new employees in private markets operations.
  • Assist in private markets operations initiatives, including the assessment, analysis, and implementation of new technology systems and procedures.
  • Ensure the reliability and accuracy of private markets processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of investment information systems, reporting, and data management.
  • Experience in investment data analysis, performance measurement, and modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of private markets terminology and concepts.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
  • Excellent project management skills.

This position is eligible for a significant variable compensation plan.
