Description

The Material Handler HQS/SAW will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the Vertique line. This position involves handling, transporting, and managing materials and products throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Warehouse Material Handler HQS/SAW Responsibilities:
  • Load products onto the Vertique conveyer line while ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely product flow.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications

Warehouse Material Handler HQS/SAW Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in material handling or warehouse operations are a plus.
  • Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or food and beverage environment.
  • Familiarity with Coca-Cola products and Vertique line operations is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to interpret work instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Comfort working in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., temperature variations, noise).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
