Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking experienced QA Engineers with strong manual testing skills and working knowledge of automation frameworks, ideally Playwright. This role involves hands-on testing across both API and UI layers, executing test cases from JIRA stories, and automating validated test cases post-deployment. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and capable of ramping up quickly in a fast-paced development environment.Responsibilities:
  • Review JIRA user stories to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and execute manual test cases for both API and UI functionality
  • Perform regression testing as new features are deployed by development teams
  • Automate validated manual test cases using Playwright (or similar frameworks)
  • Document defects, track resolution, and ensure high-quality releases
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure complete test coverage
  • Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices
Skills
  • 4-10 years of professional experience in QA testing
  • Proficient in JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and sprint planning
  • Strong background in manual testing for both API and UI layers
  • Experience with Playwright for automation; Cypress or other automation tools acceptable
  • Proven ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal oversight
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, regression testing, and release cycles
Preferred Skills:
  • Background in the cable or telecommunications industry
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
