Your Role:

As a Tax Specialist with H&R Block, you'll receive comprehensive training and the support necessary to excel in your role. You will also enjoy flexibility in your work schedule and opportunities for additional earnings, allowing you to embrace your unique lifestyle.

  • Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients in-person or through virtual platforms such as video, phone, chat, and email.

  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns while ensuring compliance.

  • Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and offering additional products and services.

  • Provide expert IRS support and guidance to clients.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve office priorities.

  • Continuously develop your tax knowledge and expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

  • Experience in customer service or retail settings.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive work environment.

  • Willingness to commit to a minimum of 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with increased hours during peak periods.

What You'll Bring to Our Team:

  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or the H&R Block Income Tax Course.

  • Adeptness in fast-paced environments.

  • Comfortable with virtual communication tools.

  • Strong communication skills both in person and remotely.

  • Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
