In Your Role as Pharmacy Director, You Will:
- Inspire and guide pharmacy staff, ensuring accountability and motivating continuous professional development.
- Manage pharmacy operations, focusing on optimization through continuous assessment and process improvements.
- Deliver direct patient care and oversee pharmaceutical care practices.
- Maintain high standards of clinical pharmacy practices, including antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety.
- Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Stay informed about new medications and collaborate on budget management for pharmaceuticals and supplies.
- Lead hospital committees focused on quality assurance, formulary management, and safety.
- Celebrate team accomplishments and foster morale within the pharmacy department.
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacy license in good standing.
- Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
