About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant with strong technical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptive environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of processes, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual reconciliations and month-end close processes primarily in Excel (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
  • Prepare and post journal entries, complete account and bank reconciliations, and produce balance sheets.
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Utilize QuickBooks extensively for day-to-day accounting tasks.
  • Support AP/AR functions as needed (though not a primary focus).
  • Collaborate with other departments and assist with ad-hoc projects as the business evolves.
Top Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
  • Proficiency in Excel (must be highly skilled with VLOOKUPs; some pivot table usage).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet preparation.
  • Familiarity with AP/AR processes for occasional support.

Day in the Life
