Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Front Desk Representative to join the team at our thriving clinic. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment information. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the office.
Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
Handle incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate staff or department.
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
Maintain accurate patient records and files in compliance with health information management standards.
Assist with billing inquiries and provide information regarding Medicare and other insurance processes.
Familiarize yourself with medical terminology to assist patients effectively.
Ensure that the front desk area is always organized and welcoming.
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Familiar with computers and scheduling software
Excellent multi-tasking skills
