Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50
Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Job Summary: As a Nursing Assistant, you will be a crucial caregiver for our residents during scheduled shifts, providing personalized nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your role is vital in ensuring age-appropriate care addressing both physical and psychological needs as outlined in individual care plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs
  • Providing emotional support and personal care
  • Assisting with mobility and exercise routines and ensuring proper transfer techniques
  • Preparing meals and creating a positive dining experience
  • Documenting care and communicating any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff
  • Supporting wellness and recreational programs
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in living areas

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory)
  • Minimum age of 16 years old
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred
  • Must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state laws or be enrolled in a training program
  • Willingness to complete ongoing education and competency testing each year
