Accounting & Finance Recruiter | A CPA Who Truly Gets ItWere working with a leading produce company in Long Beach thats looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to take the reins on day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and cost tracking across multiple entities.
What Youll Do:
- Manage month-end close and reporting
- Own cost accountinganalyzing variances, tracking labor and overhead, and maintaining accuracy
- Manage intercompany transactions and grower settlements
- Prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support audits and tax planning
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and leadership to inform business decisions
- Partner with leadership and support a small team including AP and accounting clerks
What Were Looking For:
- 5+ years of accounting experience; at least a couple at the management level
- Strong foundation in cost accounting and accrual-based financials
- Experience in produce or agriculture preferred
- Familiarity with Famous Software is a plus, but not required
- Bilingual in Spanish (read/write) would be helpful, but not required
- Youre someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and isn't afraid to get into the weeds
The Setup:
- Office is right off the 405 in Long Beach
- Most people work between the hours of 6am-3pm
- Salary up to $130K depending on experience
