Responsibilities

Review and evaluate sales order requirements and specifications to configure and develop solutions.

Collaborate with Sales and customers to clarify requirements and address concerns.

Work with Electrical Engineers and Drafting teams to produce customer drawings.

Act as the technical lead on assigned projects.

Coordinate with Assembly, Procurement, and field technicians to resolve startup issues.

Approve project releases to Manufacturing.
-
Collaborate with Assembly and Test departments to address issues during build and test phases.
-
Work as part of a project team to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
-
Provide updates on project status and timelines.
Essential Skills
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-
5+ years of experience in designing and developing electromechanical equipment, designing sheet metal products, and using 2D and 3D CAD software (preferably Creo).
-
Experience with OEM design activities and bill of materials (BOMs).
-
Knowledge of casting, compressors, pumps, and/or motors.
-
Project management experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Experience with electrical testing and noise attenuation (fan silencers).
-
Customer experience and FEA and CFD experience.
-
Understanding of seismic, wind, and vibration calculations.
Work Environment
You will work in a recently opened office near the manufacturing facility. The team consists of over ten engineers, and you will spend 90% of your time at a desk and 10% on the floor. Projects are highly customizable, with average tenures ranging from 6 months to 2 years. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company with high-demand products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.
