As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take the lead on substantial technology projects, guiding a talented group of developers skilled in microservices and full stack systems. Your efforts will play a crucial role in delivering solutions that fulfill regulatory requirements for our company.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and managing diverse technology projects.
  • Mentoring fellow engineers while sharing your passion for emerging tech trends and best practices.
  • Collaborating with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
  • Utilizing programming languages and technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and various AWS services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience (internships excluded)
  • 1+ year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
  • 3+ years with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services
  • 4+ years in open source frameworks
  • 1+ year of people management experience
  • 2+ years in Agile methodologies

  • Chicago, IL: $175,800 - $200,700
  • McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700
  • Richmond, VA: $175,800 - $200,700

This role is also eligible for performance-based compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports your overall well-being.
