HR Coordinator

Location: Brentwood, NY
Schedule & Hours:
- Part-Time: 25 hours per week
- Monday-Friday: 5 hours per day (9:00 AM-2:00 PM or 9:30 AM-2:30 PM)
- Remote: Mondays and Fridays
- Occasional early arrival (1x/month) for breakfast setup
- Occasional late stay for happy hour events
- Flexibility required
- Hourly Rate: Up to $28/hour; dependent on experience
- Benefits:

The HR Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across HR functions for a growing organization of approximately 90 employees in North America. This is a junior generalist-type role with exposure to multiple HR areas, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition Support:
- Post job openings
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Coordinate interview logistics
- Post job openings
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Prepare offer letters and agreements
- Conduct background checks
- Create onboarding materials and schedules
- Schedule new hire meetings
- Prepare offer letters and agreements
- HR Administration:
- Process salary changes and leaves
- Maintain organizational charts and headcount reports
- Reconcile benefits invoices (training provided)
- Manage spreadsheets and mail merges (Excel formulas)
- Process salary changes and leaves
- Employee Engagement:
- Coordinate monthly engagement activities
- Organize pizza lunches for new hires
- Assist with biannual company events (State of the Union parties and BBQs)
- Support Spirit Committee initiatives
- Coordinate monthly engagement activities
- General Support:
- Handle administrative tasks across HR functions
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance
- Handle administrative tasks across HR functions
- ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
- Microsoft Excel: Pivot tables, formulas
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and mail merges
- Bilingual in Spanish (highly desirable)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
