Shift: Days

Pay: $23.49 - $30.53 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Summary:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our facilities are safe and efficient. Your expertise in inspecting, operating, and maintaining physical facilities, equipment, systems, and utilities will be essential in providing a secure environment for care.

Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain a variety of equipment and systems to guarantee a safe environment of care.
• Accurately document and report all work performed.
• Conduct daily inspections in rooftops, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels, crawl spaces, and other hard-to-reach areas.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and interpret blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform general industrial maintenance, which may involve plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical systems, and more.
• Make recommendations for repairs and installations based on periodic inspections, and adhere to accepted trade practices and codes.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Relevant licensure/certification based on position level.
  • 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start date, valid for at least sixty days from hire.
