Shift: Evenings

Pay: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Compensation is based on the relevant experience of the applicant.

Overview: Join our dedicated team and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our facilities. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining essential physical facilities, equipment, systems, and utilities, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operate and maintain equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure a safe care environment.
  • Accurately document and report on work performed.
  • Access various areas including roofs, basements, tunnels, and other confined spaces as needed.
  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies to mitigate disruptions and protect patient care.
  • Conduct general industrial maintenance, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and other systems specifically tailored to healthcare needs.
  • Manage inventories and deliver supplies and materials.
  • Perform custodial duties and snow removal as necessary.
  • Assist in moving equipment as required.
  • Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment while working independently in a high-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No specific licensure or certification required, though relevant certifications may be preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
