SUMMARY:

This position supports the live production accounting and finance functions. Duties include providing support of the weekly and monthly accounting closing functions and related live production reporting of our poultry locations. This includes providing training and guidance to the locations in utilizing the growout systems, and related enhancement and rollout projects. Additional responsibilities include assisting in live cost component modeling, and ad hoc requests. This position also assists with poultry Supply Chain Finance support functions including monthly closing, budgeting and expense analysis and reporting. Other duties include working with our external auditors and assisting with special projects and other duties as the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires broad knowledge in general professional or technical field Knowledge normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor s degree or equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to the job being evaluated.

Experience: 5 plus years of experience.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel Access Word and PowerPoint; proficient in SAP and Tyson growout applications such as GIS, GCI, and various other applications.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels of management.

Special Skills: Strong organizational skills, advanced interpersonal skills, and must be able to work in a team environment.

Supervisory: None.

Travel: 6+ domestic trips per year.
