Join Our Team as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care is seeking dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide outstanding medical care.

About the Role:

In this vital position, you will deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages with diverse acute and chronic health issues. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and educate patients, ensuring top-tier service and care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Offering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Delivering friendly and efficient patient care.
  • Leading and assisting during emergencies and providing comfort to patients.
  • Performing medical assessments and treating conditions across primary care and urgent care.
  • Executing medical procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, and abscess drainage.
  • Establishing and monitoring appropriate patient care levels.
  • Overseeing on-site laboratory and x-ray services.
  • Maintaining high clinical competency and contributing to policy development.
  • Participating in educational programs for staff and assisting in service development.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical regulations and standards.

What We Require:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Active state license as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
  • Current FNP or PA-C Board Certification.
  • DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
  • DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification.

Schedule Information:

  • Full-time staff work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
  • Our PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
