ROLE OVERVIEW:
In this vital role, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, addressing a variety of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and educate patients while upholding the highest standards of service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Provide friendly and accessible care for all individuals seeking health services.
- Lead and support during emergencies, ensuring patient comfort and reassurance.
- Adapt to a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment with flexible hours and locations.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and follow-up care for clinic patients, including primary care and urgent care services.
- Perform essential medical procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, and more.
- Ensure patients receive a medically appropriate level of care.
- Supervise on-site laboratory, X-ray, and injection services as needed.
- Maintain clinical competencies and participate in the development of operational policies to enhance medical practice.
- Engage in continuing education and training for medical staff to promote quality care and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active APRN or Physician Assistant state license.
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification.
- Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain.
- Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
- Current BLS certification.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Our full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. PRN (as-needed) staff will be scheduled based on demand.
